Lighting Question

I have a question about lighting.. i am trying to experiment.. will a plants under a few cfl during veg and on flowering i put them under 400w ? i noticed that they might drop or sag a bit but will they get use to it and bounce back. ?


Another thing im thinking of is ordering some seeds but the amt for one order is about $100 for like 10 seeds will that cause people to look..

Lots of seed sites don't say that your buying seeds, plus the debit company shouldn't care at all as long as you have the money. How many watts of Cfls are you planning on using?

Well I was thinking like 5 cfl I believe they are 23 w from home depot any suggestions ?

Some stores like home-depot have CFL's that are about ~42w those will be better for your money. Also, 1000bulbs.com has the best price I have found on CFL's and they have the big ones (just make sure you aren't buying a mogul base model)

Oh and *beats dead horse* you want the 5600K color temperature bulbs for vegging

I have a question if anybody can please define the distance between plant and light some say between 24inches and 36inches why the big deference is this due to i.e bulb in use or heat , everyones seems to have a different story. I am using a 600 watt bulb and would like some advise please.
