I just recently bought a 400 watt set up from a local hydroponics store. I had about 6 plants (about 4 inches tall) that I figured Id set up in my closet under the HPS. I had them under two warm and cool tube lights in a box previously. My closet is about 2.5 ft deep and like 7 foot tall. I let them sit under the light for only one night and when I woke up they had all fried ( i had them like 24 inches away!). I was so mad! you are going to need some sort of ventalation. I took off my closet door set up a fan and put a white shower curtain up to block in all the light. We'll see how that works....GOOD LUCK!
