what would be the best lighting for a aeroponics cuboard thats 22 inch indepth (jsut under 2 feet) and 58 inches wide (just under 5 feet ) and 7-8 foot tall would 2-430 watt lights or 1 600-1000 hps ? feed back would be great

1 600w would succesfully fill this space. for this size the benefit from the 1000w would probably not be that significant. There is a lumen calculator on here somewhere that will tell you exactly what you want to know. Then you can see the proof for yourself. It is a good tool. ZCheck it out.

all of those options are pretty good. the only problem with the higher wattage lights is the heat. you must take that into consideration if you go with the 600W or 1000W lights and even if you get 2 smaller lights. if you go this route you must take extra precautions for the heat that hid lights create. either intake and exhaust fans, extra box or oscillating fans, and ac unit, co2 even, cooltubes, etc
