Hello, first off thanks for all you growers that have provided me with so much information on these forums.
Ok, this is my first grow. This plant is 6 weeks into veg. It had a tough start due to my lack of knowledge. It's bagseed so I don't have strain info. I'm sure it's a indica or indica dominant strain. I started these plants using Miracle Grow thinking hey it's a weed... it'll be fine. Suffice to say I learned otherwise. It worked well enough until I acquired some FFoF.
The issue I'm concerned about is the entire plant is lime green. One leaf has a small amount of yellowing/burn at the base but this occured early on and hasn't spread or worsened since I got away from the Miracle grow. Leaves are curling upwards. Otherwise it looks healthy. It was topped once in an attempt to get 4 colas in flower. I think it worked... They went from dixie cups, to coffee cans with drainage drilled into bottoms (all i had) with miracle grow and perlite added. 3-1 ratio of soil to perlite. No nutes were used during them first 4 weeks. I transplanted to FFoF and used a dose of Superthrive in the watering to help with recovery from the transplant to 3 gallon grow bags and FFoF soil.
Water is tap with a ph of 8 out the tap. Source is well water with chlorine added. No flouride. I let water sit at least 24 hours to attempt to let that chlorine evaporate out. I'm using Dyna Gro foiliage pro at a 1/4 tsp. per gallon of water. Once nutes are added I test the water PH and add a touch of ph down to get it down to 6. I dont water again until soil is dry 3 inches into the soil. Usually 2-3 days. Temps fluctuate with a low of 60 at night and up to 81 when light is on. Humidity goes 25-30... it's winter time so. I can't afford the equip to keep temp and humidity at optimal ranges.
Using a 600w mh with a aircool tube, xl wing (5x5 coverage) with a heavy duty fan blowing through the tube. I dont have the money to get a duct and inline rigged up at the moment. Mylar all around. I attempted to rig a CO2 gen using sugar, yeast... I was familiar with the process having brewing experience. Not sure if it helped the plants have access to fresh air regardless.
So Im wondering if I have a sulphur issue? Is it heat/light stress? Ive yet to get a soil ph test kit. Working on that... Oh and my light stays 18 inches above the plants. Every other plant is dark green and pretty healthy looking. They have all been subject to the exact same watering schedule, soil, repotting... so I'm kinda at a loss. Attached are pics... any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Also all my plants are short... Probably due to the rough start they had. I'd say I wouldnt count their first 2 weeks of life as productive veg time due to my inexperience. I did have 12 100w equivalant CFLs about 2 inches above them all during that time. 6500K cool blues. Not sure if that helped keep them so short or what..
