Pretty hard to use a syringe without the pure distillate congealing and refusing to cooperate.
You could try this..
Heat the distillate jar in a pot of very warm water until it's the consistency of a thick syrup. Keep a close eye on it...nobody likes burned distillate.
Zero out a scale after placing a shot glass on the scale. Transfer the amount you need of syrupy distillate into the shot glass. I use two butter knives to do this, you'll be able to recover the residue of the distillate that will inevitably stick to the knives by stirring them in your hot candy mix a bit later.
You may want to add a bit of coconut oil to the shot glass to make the distillate easier to pour out of the shot glass when you're ready to add it to whatever you're making. Warm the shotglass until the distillate / coco butter will pour. Add when appropriate to whatever you're cooking.
If you know the thc percentage of your distillate and the number of grams you're putting into the shot glass, you can derive the milligrams of thc per candy etc.
Alternatively you can "ice pick" hard distillate and get some to fly all over the kitchen counter and land on the floor. Maybe even break the jar and get some glass slivers too. Bonus points if you stab your hand.
