Little animals in my hydro Reservoir?

Merry christmas ;)
Hope you all hade some nice good tasting days ;)


After all the christmass stress,
I changed my res. And i saw something that i never hade bevor.
There was little points on the water surface .
I put a paper in and out to watch what it is.
There are a lot realy a lot of little animals , i dont know what they are, so i hope some of you know theses bitches ,and how to kill them.

Springtails! They are fine! They eat dead roots and waste matter. They love and thrive in DWC and are beneficial! Don't kill the good guys!

They help fight bad fungi/bacterial growth. They only eat dead decaying things.

If plants are healthy you don't have anything to worry about. From my experience they don't get out of hand with regular res changes.

They do more good than harm in my experience. You will probably cause more damage if you try to eradicate them. I tolerate them, some people don't.

I can't stand to see thousands of them fuckers dancing on top of the water. If I ever get them again I will see how long I can stand it if they are "supposedly" beneficial. I went to a lot of trouble to get rid of them.
