Little Balls with Hairs inside Colas. What is This?

So im looking at the main cola inspecting it for seeds, hoping not to see any sign off them. What I'm seeing are little balls on some spots that have one or two little hairs coming out of them. Are these first signs of seeds or is this normal. This is my first grow and I removed every male and have nothing but females in the flowering room. The girls are about 4 weeks into flowering and I recently removed one that was not producing any flowers. It might have been a hermie. So the little balls, are they normal growth. Also the one that has these little balls is about 6 to 7 weeks into flowering and I am thinking of cutting it down soon. However if these balls are a sign that the flower is still in growth I will wait to cut it down. I have bought weed that was cut too soon and they appear to have there little ball looking things that are not seed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry no photos because my camera cannot capture any close up shots what so ever and the photos I do have cannot help to show what im talking about.

Yepper, could be a seed, could be a calyx. Haloman's right, a visual would do wonders. Don't be afraid to squeeze one hard and see if there's a seed in there.

Sounds like its all normal, to satisfy your need to know, about the seeds, you can take tweezers and just rip one of them calyx open. I do this sometimes on the bigger ones that show up on the joints of the plant, or the bud directly to check seed maturity or to see if there is seeds at all.

I know they can look big, but if there is no seed in it, its just hollow. Like a balloon.

If it was a hermi and your this late in flowering, Just leave it. No seeds can develop in the final 2 weeks. Most you will get is small grains, the very start of a seed. But like I said it don't sound like a hermi.

Thanks for the reply fellas, The ball are extremely small about one tenth the size of a regular seed, and some have a little hair coming out of the top. If it is a catalyst does this mean it still has more time to develop before harvest? The plant is 6 weeks into flowering, and its main cola is about six inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter. But I hope it is not a baby seed starting to grow. No pic possible because it is way too close and too small for my crappy camera to capture a photo clearly.
