IMO. Top don't lollipop. Don't remove the lower growth for no reason. Leaves produce bud. Check out ub's topping sticky. I'm sure you will get many people saying to lollipop. Just research it first before you decided hope it helps good luck

well that depends, how well the plant responds to the topping. if you top and all the lower growth reaches the top and evens the canopy on a short plant, i would agree with you to a certain extent. however, even if so, that lower growth will only grow to be popcorn that will eventually turn into nothing once the plant is finished drying, hence the reason why i said both.

What is your goal? More plants isn't always the answer, I pull the same amount if not more with 1 plant than I do with 5 if not in a legal state I would imagine 1 plant is less jail time than 10 little plants. How much do you need? Can you set up a small clone/veg cabinet?

Funny thing about all the tricks of the trade is, they are there for you to use as you see fit. I see a little in all these techniques, topping, fimming, super cropping, scrog, sog, lst, mainlining, grafting, man, it truly is a grab bag of manipulation for the taking. I say learn all you can about each one and see what your mind can create in your space.

You could be the most ultimate super cropping cloning fimming grafter that has ever existed.

Apples and oranges.

Topping is a training method. Lollipoping is pruning lower branches that are shaded by the canopy.
