Look at my potentel set up with led. Let me know what i am looking at wrong, or how to make it better.

So here is my Delma- on a 14 light grow i have some rough estimates. Going from 1000 watts hps/mh to the 720 growers choice. i figure 300-350 a month savings on electric and that is with my ac for the room figured in.so 3600-4200 in savings a year. 300-350 a month.
Know i have to figure in the winter months i probably have to use propane to heat my room know? what do you think? i do not think the leds will keep the room warm enough. so the 300-350 a month in savings lets just say just split in half at a min falls to 100 or equal. i also have figured in 1300 in bulbs a year savings so i dont have to spend that in bulbs. Propane will have to be used for roughly 6-7 months. about 12000 i would need to put into led. if i had to cut the 3600/2 that is 1800 a year. to get that to 12000 thats over 6 years. What am i over looking and figuring out wrong here? Thank you very much for your input..

Yes, you can balance temps using propane for heating, but you could also make your setup in a way so you can drop in a led or hps whenever you need less or more heat. If cold season is 6-7 months then maybe leds arent for you, its no joke when people say led flower at 81F, less and you will have poor growth and problematic flower.

Maybe you would be best served by trying to replace one or two lights first.

Edit: i cant say anything about your money calculations but i can attest to you needing more dehumidification if youre burning gas.

Hps bulb replacement is a big cost u would be eliminating 14 bulbs say yearly thats over a grand a year. are u running single or double end bulbs?

That being said, an indoor grower in southern california or florida will benefit FAR more from switching to led than say a grower in Northern Washington or Alaska. sounds like u live in cold climate. maybe consider just swapping out a few lights and see how it goes.
