with the bubbleponics system I'm using how much do you think i can yield. its a twelve pot system. i have two 6 plant buckets and an extra resevoir. each holds 6 gallons of water/nutrients. i want to do a sea of green method. i will have a twelve plant bubbleponic system with my clones in it .I'm using 1000w MH/HPS switchable light system. I want to harvest every 4-5 weeks.

Any opinions are appreciated

12 plants could easily achieve 24 ounces if grown properly but its down to the skill of the grower. sea of green method will reduce the amount you get per plant though so the 24 ounces will be tougher to achieve, what were your plans for the veg stage because i notice you say you have a 1000 watt switchable light

Well i wasn't really sure, I was hopin sum1 could give me some ideas. I Want to make this thing work. Assuming that it takes 3-4 weeks for me 2 veg It would be impossible to wait for me to harvest to put veg. plants into flowering since flowering is somewhere around 7 weeks. I need help!!! Do you have any ideas on how i can make this work.

I did the sea of green with the bubbleponics and had the Dual Spectrum II lights. the 6 plants are so very crowded at 5 weeks! I bent the ones over that I could bend over, and tied them over using big thick rubber bands. That made the limbs bent over produce buds or flowers growing straight up. I was a newbie back then but I had done hours of research and study. After 6 weeks of 12/12, and flowering, I took the big ones and after drying I had about 6 oz. of nice prime buds. No Giant colas tho, just nice buds. I adjusted my lights back closer, and decided to experiment and I continued to let em grow. I got about 6 oz more of small buds before everything started turning yellow on me. I've heard of and spoke to people who got a lot more from the sea of green style and they grew for like almost a year long.
Now I only try 4 fems in my 6 planter tank,in the corners, and I let them grow for 8 weeks and they get about 2 -1/2 to 3 ft tall but they get thick and bushy. I let them flower and flower too, and I get more.
Experiment and see what you get.

get a whole shit load of cfls in the veg spectrum and use them for your clones to veg seperate to the flowering room.

You dont need them to veg for long so that you can flower them as quick as possible, clones are already mature enough to flower as soon as you see roots and you will get a faster harvest time but you will lose out on yield.

I'm not sure how you did the sea of green without getting main colas, sea of green is about getting a quicker flowering period and only harvesting the main cola

I'm thinking about Using the four females in the corners method I may just have two purchase another 2 unit system like the one i explained earlier and use that to flower the clones i have vegging that way i'll have 8 plants starting their flowering period every 4weeks . sumthin like sea of green. What do you guys think? And roseman did you get 6 ounces from all 4 plants or per plant. with the info i gave you guys in this post do you think i can harvest 1lb. every harvest with the 8 plants i harvest every 4-5 weeks . If anybody has ever seen the stealth bubbleponics system, do you think that the 1000w light i'm getting will cover the four buckets. their only 6gal.'s plus two 6gal. main resevoirs.

If you want to harvest every 5 weeks, you'll have to keep 2 crops in flowering at any one time. Every 5 weeks you'll harvest and replace. You need to flower most hybrids 9-10 weeks, so it'll work perfectly.

I meant I didn't get GIANT Colas, I got colas, but not massive ones like I have seen in pics here. I got 6 oz from the 4 plants, but that is manicured bud ounces. And I was a rookie then, I get much more now useing the tied and bet over method.
I've learned alot this past year, and if you can have two tanks going, the sea of green is the way to go, for continueing harvesting VERY FAST. Little plants 8 inches tall can produce big buds fast, you just don't get as many, but you get them FASTER.
I started a new thread called STEALTH HYDRO here, check it out. I'm trying t help newbies with that system.
and I don't have any experience with the 1000 Watt HOT lights they sell. Ask Robert at Customer Service there. he is very helpful.

So would I be able to grow my 4 buckets under the 1000w light. Its going to be able to fit 6 plants but i'm only going to have 4 plants in the corners of each bucket.

I tried the 4 in 4 corners and I tried two, one in each diaganol corner. Both times, I just had bushy plants everywhere and they were restricted being in my small closet, by the walls. From now on, I will do the 6, grow them 4 weeks, and start the BLOOM process, and do the sea of green, for faster harvest and more frequesnt harvests. If you stick to the one in each corner, make room to bend each over horozontallly, each plant bent toward the corners, and tie them over, encouraging side ways growth. then multiple tops will start growing upward and you will get more tops. More light can get down in them.

Hello all, I am a newbie grower and new to Rollitup, but based on the great experienced provided by Roseman and Purpdaddy, I got started. I am wondering the same thing. I have 6 Females and was thinking about removing two, Defiantly start bending them. and its been around 28 days, next water change switch to Bloom?

I visited your thread nd posted there.

I have a cabinet that is 3 x 2.5 x 5.5. When I first began, I was growing in soil in two gallon pots. I made the switch to hydro using a TurboGarden with 14 plants trying the SOG method. The best yield I got from my 600 HPS was a little over 8 ounces of finished bud. I converted the TurboGarden to Aero, bought a blank lid and drilled six three-inch holes for six netpots ... and now I'm growing six plants under the same 600 HPS ... and my yields are consistently just under a pound per cycle. I grow one strain only and really have it dialed in with pruning, nutrients, veg time and flower time. Sometimes, less is more.
