Bugs and pest can and do screw up many grows. In many previous post I laid forth the method I use for outgrows to prevent, control and eliminate.
Just wanted to let you know it worked like a champ again this year. Even after trimming no bugs. Not bad for a back yard N. California grow.
That means minimum destruction from both suckers and leaf hoppers. Not to mention grass hoppers.

Warning

If you don't have some method to control bugs and pest - you will regret it.

That's one sure way of increasing your yield.

If you get a chance read up on my past post regarding this matter. You can't control the genetics, but you sure can control environmental circumstances.

Happy Growing!!

I've been real lucky, no bugs on these, but something loves the shit out of my Habanero plant.
LOL same thing happened to me. My plants outside have been for the most part pest free. However a month ago I went out side and my large habanero plant was missing like 90% of the leaves. I found 6 large finger sized caterpillars on the plant, they where very fat and happy until I found them. To my surprise and delight the habanero plant has fully recovered and has even just started to fruit! I will have lots of peppers.
