I'm looking for specific recommendations for a strain/variety, based on experience. I don't have access to clones, or trusted sources for anything.
I'd like Jack Herer, or something that is that closest possible resemblance (effect wise; terpene/thc profile, etc.).
Another variety I was interested in after browsing Dinafem is "Purple Moby Dick".
Also, I'd like some advice on who are the top breeders/seed producers and sellers. Not based on marketing, or what the hottest, craziest 'strain names" are. But based on track record and history, credibility, trustworthiness, and just as important; the technical aspects of breeding and producing stable genetics. I don't know all the technical information on seed producing, and anything I once read on the topic has been forgotten. But I know that it is an art, and a science, and that it's very difficult (time, space, technical abilities, etc.) to achieve stable genetics, to where one can expect to find the desired "phenotype" and traits that match what the breeder intended their work to produce. For example, if you can buy a 10 pack, and know that you'll certainly get one of those seedlings to come out with the correct phenotype.
Feel free to correct any of my mistakes, terminology or otherwise (ie: maybe I should be saying genotype(?)).
By the way, I'm in canada.
Thanks.
Edit: I should probably add that it's not *too* likely I'll be smoking. It's likely I'll be trying to extract the trichomes in some way or another. But that's not the biggest consideration, just worth mentioning.
