I consistently see people on here asking what are good seeds and who are good breeders. There are so many varieties that it can be overwhelming, so I whittled a list down to breeders who have the most positive feedback here on the site. This is just a starting point.

In no order:
Gage Green
Rare Dankness
Sin City
Mandala
Ace
Delicious
DNA Genetics
Reserva Privada
Sannie, E$ko and the crew at Sannie's shop
Og Raskal
Serious Seeds
Soma Seeds
Mr. Nice
Bodhi - probably the most loved breeder on RIU for his combination of fire genetics, integrity and low prices. I have not heard a bad thing about Bodhi.

Some smaller, maybe less accessible breeders, with good feedback:
303 Seeds
Cabin Fever Seeds
Breeder's Boutique
Gooeybreeder
PeakSeedsBc

Breeders with polarizing feedback (potential fire, but selection is necessary):
TGA
Cali Connection

The most hated breeder on RIU:
Greenhouse Seeds

There are smaller, boutique breeders that get good feedback as well, but are less accessible so I left them off the list.

*This is not a list from much experience with the breeders, but rather with experience with reading RIU. There are no doubt breeders not on the list with incredible genetics, but I haven't heard enough about them. This is just a starting point for those overwhelmed with the vast selection of seeds.

Mr Nice is fairly well respected as well, and I'd pick those over 1-2 others on your list.

Gage deserves that first place on your list. But boutique breeders are where it is at. Gage is not a huge company, it is a small dedicated team focused on DANK not promotion. Really a case of the product speaking for itself. Very cool people to work with too. And my respect for Soma knows no bounds. And nobody buying from Mr Nice is going to be disappointed. Mr Nice's auctions are really badass. BRILLIANT gear for insanely low prices.

Just putting my 2 cents in here, PeakseedsBC deserves a spot. Oldschool genetics and just a decent fellow. I've had the pleasure of ordering from him twice, each time took about 2 weeks and he guarentees delivery. Out of the last order, 2 were males... Pretty good odds I'd say.

ill vouch for mandala, their strains are very easy to grow, clone and take very little nutes. good stuff for beginners or to cross to worn out strains. ive grown their sadhu(discontinued) and the safari mix with good results.

mandala sadhu, this was one of my first seed purchases like 5-6 years ago.

Apothecary se-eds is owned/run by a guy named Brett Bogue, who was (and I think still is) an instructor at "Oaksterdam". He got out of prison a year or two ago after a stint for being caught cultivating a large number of plants. This guy won a HT cannabis cup a few years back for his strain "Kaia Kush", which he promptly sold to Greenhouse Se-eds. So Apothecary was down for a while, and has only relatively recently returned.

To put this politely, the owner has somewhat of a checkered reputation, and I'd do my homework before buying these.

You're a lot less diplomatic than I am. . .

Without slagging anyone, I'll just say that there is a very good list of reputable breeders above, and particularly for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with genetics, and/or who isn't really knowledgeable about the industry, its tough to go wrong picking from that list.

You can find great genetics from any number of breeders. . .ultimately most of them are starting their crosses from the same basic genetic pool. . .but your "hit percentage" may be a bit lower.

I'm sure that out of the 30+ lines Apothecary currently lists in their catalog, at least SOME of them will give you excellent plants.

But the very fact that this guy is offering 30+ lines, basically out of nowhere, says a little bit about the amount of work and development that went into each one. (EG, it typically takes about 2 years work to selectively breed a semi-stable new line). Its very easy to take two plants, cross them, give the cross a name, then sell the resultant beans. But that's not really "breeding", its usually not a good way to get consistent genetics, and in my opinion, its not something worth paying a premium for.

I love Bodhi! I have a whole closet of bodhi ready to harvest next week. I dropped all my RP/DNA (weren't bad, just not FIRE) .

On my list to try as many people respect and have beautiful plants are:
ACE
Cannabiogen
Mandala

I will endorse Mandala genes with great enthusiasm.

They are somewhat unique in my experience....
Flavor and ease of growth combined with impressive vigor...

Satori is yummy and potent.
Point of no Return is not the most potent indica, but has become one of my favorites for it's outrageous great taste and long lasting buzz.
Hashberry...wow.

I will be growing out many more of Mandalas creations...very impressive.

Paradise also is one of my preferred suppliers...WAPPA...fantastic plant.

Serious seeds has some seriously superior genetics also.

Even without the fake chem 91 stuff, or the seriously questionable strain lineages (my favorite is the one that is listed as female OG x male OG) the fact is that the pictures for pretty much all of those strains are appropriated from DNA, GHS, and tCC. I mean, stealing pics from swerve is all kinds of ironic and everything, but still, I would never trust a breeder that couldn't put up pics of their own gear.
