Hi l am looking for a light for my cutting room and small plants before they go to big room i have 2 fluros but they don't seem strong enough as I see other peoples plants and they seem alot stronger and stout compared to mine l was given a Greenfingers 1000w led grow light full spectrum that says it's equivalent to a 250watt hps/mh light or will it be to strong

If it says 1000w /250hps equivalent its probably a 100w led. Will be enough light for a 2x2 space.

Separate your cutting area from your 'babies' area. Smaller area for cuttings, to root, need only a small light. I've used a single 2ft, t5 in my clone area that is only 3ft (w) x 2ft (h) x 1.5ft (d) for years. Then in the 'babies' area, don't know how big a room you're using or how big (in numbers) your grow expectations are or how big you want to grow them, confining them to a smaller area can help too.

That sounds like all kinds of wrong... theres no way a 1kw LED array is equivelent to 250w HPS, more like 4kw of HPS :o

I suspect the "Greenfingers 1000w led grow light" is cheap junk and falsly advertised/marketed... the maths doesn't just 'not add up', it's in a different realm of physics.

Are you sure it's 1000w, and not 100w?
