looking for some good advice.

ok, so i have this plant.i started growing it in about late may. this is my first grow so im kinda new to it. the seed is nothing special. just bagseed. i was wondering how my plant was looking and if it was indica or sativa. its about a week into flowering. i live in the upper midwest so the weathers not exactly the best but it does what it needs to. also i was wondering how long i should flower it for. any advice would be great. p.s. sorry the pics aren't the best. there from my phone

Good job! Flower them till there done. You should start reading up on when to harvest or keep pics posted so others can help you judge if you're unsure. And I hear ya on the weather, windy as shit and cold outside right now.

I agree with 420God. It's always best to "flower them til they're done". lol
But seriously, they look good for an outdoor grow. I'm guessing that it's going to start getting chilly where you are, if it hasn't already. If possible, I would bring the plants indoors for the 12 hours at night so that they don't experience a big difference between daytime and nighttime temps. Hard to tell from the pics if they are indica or sativa, but it'll be easier to tell once they start flowering.

anything from 8weeks to around 15weeks dependant on the conditions and the strain.

Due to it being bagseed it is hard to estimate when the flowering will be finished.

If you start reading like 420GOD mentioned then you will be able to see the difference in a finished plant to an unfinished plant. It is really easy to spot once you know what to look for as the plant looks completely different.

Take a look over the harvesting thread FDD2BLK has a harvesting tutorial which shows a ready and not ready plant.
