Okay so I'm looking at the cxm22 90cri 3000k chips from @cobkits.com
Am also looking to drive 8 of these at about 1 amp each on two of the mean Well hlg 185-48a.
What I'm looking for now is some heatsink that will dissipate the heat from these less, I'm pretty sure they will be running at 55watts each so would only need to dissipate 25-30 watts.
I've been looking at the 120 and 140mm pin heatsinks but there are none really in stock and they are quite pricey...
So what I was looking at is these heatsinks from ebay wich are 120mmx100mmx18mm they are around $4 each and I was thinking of running one 55w cob per led heatsink and adding a cheap 100mm fan ONTO the back of each heatsink to help with cooling, I've found some fans for $1.70, that will be able to run 4 per apv12-12.
Here is a link to the heatsink, they look very easy to install onto a aluminum angle frame while looking neat and low profile and low cost.
You guys think this could work with active cooling
