Hey guys, After much contemplating, I believe I've decided to go with a vertical grow using Hempy buckets for my SSHxAK47 seeds. I was inspired by this guy, who has 15 plants flowering from a single 400 watt HPS light in a 4x4 space. The grow tent I'm looking at is 4x4 and this is something I would absolutely love to duplicate. Anyway, the only problem I'm having trouble with is what should I do about the if I want to make clones? I was orginally thinking something like this. Germinate the 10 seeds, let them veg for like 2 weeks. Then place them in the vertical grow flowering room. Now it is to my understanding in the flowering stage, most plants show their sex in 2 weeks. I would then take a clone of each plant before their sex shows. Once the mothers reveal what they are, I destroy the males and keep the females. Then I flower the mothers, and let the clones veg for 2 or so week. I clone the clones, and stick the first clones in the flowering room. Rinse, repeat.
Does this sound good? Or should I veg all the seeds until the sex appearsm which is about the 4th or 5 week IIRC? Then when they show their sex, clone the mothers, and place the mothers in the flowering room while the clones veg for 2 weeks or so? The only problem I'm having with that is the tent I'm looking at is 6.5" in height. Take in account the bucket, and that's a little less than 6.5" in height. If I place the mothers who showed their sex in the veg stage in the flowering room, wouldn't they get too big for my room? Or does the vertical grow only allow the plant to grow to a certain height?
As you can see, I'm confused, lol. I guess what I'm asking in a nutshell would be, if you had 10 seeds, how would you go on about making a vertical grow with clones and such so I have a constant supply? Remember, the seeds are Super Silver Haze crossed with AK47 so they would be more Sativa dominate. Hence why I'm worried about height and flowering the mother, ha.
