Low Cab Temps

Anyone else have this problem? I have a 3ft x 1ft x 4ft (0.94m [L]/0.3m [W]/1.21m [H]) with 6 crappy 13 watt Cfls. I placed some aluminum foil above the light in order to trap some heat. I also place a black garbage bag under my pot to attract heat as well as place another black garbage bag acting as a pseudo door (also an attempt to increase temps).


I do not have a thermometer but If I had to guess, it gets about 72-75 degrees Fahrenheit (22-23 Celsius) at the top of the plant and about 64-70 degrees Fahrenheit (17-21 Celsius) from the pot. My baby (Angelica) is a little over one foot tall (0.3m tall) so the difference in temperature is disturbing. Again, I do not own a thermometer so I can't give exact temps but it certainly feels like that big of a difference.


I feel my bottom fan leaves and they are all cold to the touch. Yet the ones near the main cola are nice and warm. Any way I can add heat to my cab without spending money? Thanks in advance.

Run a hose of some kind from a heating duct to the tent? Might make your house smell like chronic when she flowers though..

I hate to say it but I have a feeling due to your limited resources that the temperature inside your cab will end up being the least of your concerns.
