Wtf is going on here haha training fan leavesHello- when should I start removing the fan leaves? I move them out of the way so they don't block the new growth but they just end up back there Naturally. Should I at least cut the ones laying on the soil $
Haha No I was trying to keep them from blocking the sunlight to the new growth. that's why I was asking if I should cut them off.Wtf is going on here haha training fan leaves
Just let it be untill it's bit bigger I see a lot of people on here trying way too hard. It's called weed because it is just that and will pretty much grow on its ownHaha No I was trying to keep them from blocking the sunlight to the new growth. that's why I was asking if I should cut them off.
Think of it like this. Your first two little leaves at germination are like two pennies and then you get your first one finger true serrated leaves. That's like two pennies turning into four pennies. Then you get your first three finger leaves. That's like four pennies turning into eight pennies. Eight turns into 1616 to 32, 32 to 64, 64 to 128. The plant is just multiplying it's ability to photosynthesize. You remove leaves when their aren't enough u slow down the power supply of the plant. Also, things don't need to get direct light to get power from photosynthesis the plant shares Its energy that the canopy collects. just by moving the leaves around and letting those lower branches get light. Sometimes they will start looking for it and trying to get around the leaves to get to the light.Hello- when should I start removing the fan leaves? I would not have trimmed leaves from a plant that small. There’s dimly no reason to. I would transplant as soon as possible. That plant must be root bound by now, and limited space for roots to stretch will slow growth significantly.Just for reference. I removed the sun leaves from this little guy about a week ago
