i tried some low stress training on my plant by bending the top over and tying it down so the little shoots coming off the stem would grow. but the top just grew horizontal about an inch then grew vertical again. do i just keap tying the top down to keap it horizontal?

i'l take a pic and upload it if people think it will help

yeah just keep tying it down but be careful. the older the plant gets the stronger the stalk gets, and it can snap very easily. i like to lst my plants very early in life then just let them grow naturally

no dude, but you have the right idea. your plant is going to grow towards the light, and there's nothing you can do to stop it....lol.... bacically you want your top growth even in height with the other shoots, so one top isn't higher than the other.. and all tops get the same amount of light.

vertical......horizontal...... that shit doesn't matter as long as you have an even canopy of light on your bud sites to be.... i usually tie down the main shoot 2 weeks after sprout, leave it for two weeks, and cut the tie when it goes into flower

so is there any way i can permanently top the plant so it wont grow back at the top at all? or would that just do more harm then good?

you can top it but it will grow two new shoots from the node topped...... i would leave it tied if i was you and let the lower shoots catch up. don't stall any new growth......

if your going to top em i wouldn't even bother with lst
