Lumatek compatibility?

was wonder if anyone had any info or suggestions..looking for a 600w MH and a 1000w HPS for my new lumatek 1000W 240/120 dimmable ballasts..leaning towards digilux..i know lumatek had had some problems with some 600w bulbs so any advice would be appreciated

Most people swear by the Osram bulbs for HPS and the Philips MH bulbs. Scroggsy.

The 600 watt bulbs that were affected were the Hortilux HPS. They were designed for magnetic ballasts. Digilux is the more updated electronic bulb and will work well. Digilux sells both Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium bulbs. Another brand is Ushio HiLux.

600HPS plantastar bulbs are designed for the Hz but their is no true true dig bulb bud. U just gonna have to replace them every year Get the store to mark your bulbs life.

thanks for the info..i think im going to give digilux a whirl..replacing every year doesnt sound too bad.
