Help! I need some help i can home today and my 600watt HPS wasnt working. I tried plugging the ballast direclty into the wall with no effect, i swapped out HPS with a conversion MH and waited 5 min and it came on however it doesnt seem to be working correctly . The ballast is only 3 months old and i have been using it with no problems up until now. Any suggestions???? help help help!!

return the ballast to a dealer who handles warranty?

I'd be suspect of the bulb. Does the HPS try to fire at all after a cooling off period?? If it fires intermittently and goes off, it's the bulb.
