lumens per square foot

how many lumens per square feet do I need. I'm using a 48 20 by 48 tent with a t5 light that produces 20,000 lumens. Is that enough to grow. How many lumens do I need per square feet . Is 20,ooo enough to grow? I have the grow bulbs and the flour bulbs. What can i expect?

3000 lumens psf is the minimum for a good grow but 5,000 lumens psf is optimum and even more is better. You've got 6 sf so 20k is good for now but you should get some 2700k Warm White CFL to augment. Shop light reflector will do or you can hang them down the sides without reflectors to increase bud sites.
