Lumnes lighting questions

Hey I am new to this and have a few questions about lighting. I am wondering about the luminen output of different wattage lights. How much does a 1000w put out, how much does a 750w put out and how much for a 600w? I understand the 1000W penetrates more and the 600w is more economical but what are the numbers.

Also Im leaning towards a sog so if I understand right it should be better to use a 600w or 750w because you dont need to penetrate very much because your plants shouldent be getting that big anyway.
