Mainlining in rdwc

Hey guys, I’m considering attempting mainlining in my rdwc and just curious as to everyone’s thoughts…
I’ve watched a bunch of videos on how to do it but they’ve all been soil grows. Is there a reason I don’t see anyone doing this that grows hydroponically?
also- if I do, do this should I cut nutrient levels back after initial top and strip?

No reason at all if your system is running ok. It'll recover quicker and veg quicker than soil if anything. Leave the nutes where it's happy, which it will be or you shouldn't be topping it

Exactly what I'm doing right now. After the 3rd top I just let it fill the canopy though. Only doing slight defoliation after swapping to flower.
