Hi everybody,I was wondering if anybody out their, knew of what kind of method of feeding would I use to maintain a healthy mother plant using, fox farm nutes? I have, big bloom, grow big,and tiger bloom, what I was wondering is what kind of schedule do I keep the mother on?

also here is a feeding schedule I found on here from another thread, wich week or weeks do I keep the mother on?

WEEKLY FEEDING- per Gallon

Sprouting and week 1--BigBloom 2TBS
week 2-- 2tsp Grow Big + 2TBS Big Bloom
Week 3--3tsp Grow Big + 2TBS Big Bloom
Week 4--JUST 3 tspGrow Big + 1/4 tsp Open Sesame
Week 5 same as week 4 unless going 12/12--

Well I know you had to veg your plants didn't u. Well all u got to do is just keep vegging her with the same nutes. All a mother is is a female plant that is large enough to continuously take clones from her

I respectfully disagree! That feeding chart is "pushing" the plants (feeding maximum nutrients - for fast growth). You don't want to feed your Mother plant like an athelete in training; you want her to be like someone on a diet. Of course this is assuming that you are a non-commercial, home grower.

It has been a long time since I used a feeding schedual like that, but I remember they were always saying to use more than was needed at any point. For a Mother plant I would say to only use about 1/3 - 1/2 a dose of what the schedual calls for in week # 2. And then bump it up a little bit if you need to.

A better choice would be to save the FoxFarm nutes for the clones and put the Mother in some, mild, "Add water only" organic soil. I get the impression that you are growing in soil, yes?

To sustain a mother all you have to keep in mind is to keep the plant green. You can utilize your week two feeding schedule minus the big bloom. Remember prior to taking your clones about two weeks just use 1/2 to 1 tsp per gallon of water. Clones tend to root better when nitrogen is diluted or absent. Good luck.
