Making cannabutter over a camp fire?

Me and a few friends are going camping when spring break starts.
We were going to attempt making mac and cheese over a camp fire using cannabutter.
Since you only need about 2 teaspoons of butter to make boxed mac and cheese would we only need about a gram of weed?
and could we successfully cook it over a fire? We would probably end up using 5 or 6 boxes of mac and cheese because there's going to be 6-8 people eating it. so 10 teaspoons of butter.
Thankyou!

what is your medible tolerance? 1g or half a g is not going to do anything to me. I would take 3-4 g of Keif and use that over using weed. More potent less weed flavor. Cook the oil with the weed separately from the mac and cheese. Allow about 20-30 mins or so for the oil to absorb the thc then add it to the mac.

Seriously Mac and Cheese and Camping?? new one on me.

I've never eaten anything with cannabis in it. I live in new york, so theres not really anywhere you can buy it here since it isnt legal ..

I dunno mac and cheese is the perfect munchie food! :hump:

Why don't you make the eatables before you go, it would be a lot easier. That is a very weak concentration of cannabis, however, you know what you and your friends normally use. It will be hard to control the temps over a fire and it takes a while to make quality butter. Good luck
