making exhaust,air tight?

ok was wondering on how to make it so that my exhaust fan is air tight,i used duct tape to put around it and hold it down,but it looks ghetto to me.
so any suggestions?

Duct tape is the best thing to use, by far. Its long lasting, water resistant, heat resistant, and it retains its stickyness if you take it apart and rewrap it.

is duct tape really?if it ill leave it i just thought it would leak out air etc but i guess i was wrong?
can anyone back this info up for me?

I use it...only have 2 spots though. Using the pipes that you have you can also use an aluminum tape. Sell it at parts stores.:joint::peace:

Aluminum tape is no better and is 15 bucks a roll, duct tape is 2.50 a roll and will work just as well. Duct tape is made for taping ductwork, exactly what your using it for. It works something awesome.
