Making feminized auto seeds

So this summer I plan on making a lot of seeds from the 10+ auto seeds I have. I use ionic silver to make a female plant produce male buds ( pollen sacs). Ive read that seeds need around 4 weeks to mature in the plant. I plan on starting the plants I'm goin to spray 4 weeks ahead of the rest. So the pollen has a chance to develop . Then I can use it on the plants to follow. Anyone have any experience with this. Any suggestions or opinions are appreciated

If you sex your plants and spray your female as soon as you know what is what, you should be fine.

I think about 2 weeks is optimal. I'm starting afgan kush ryder fem run the 1 st female will me a week old tommorow. Seeds take about 5-7 weeks. I picked some rip ones at the end of 4 weeks but the bulk. Of them took longer. I pulled a little under 3000 seeds from one lowryder2.

They are all feminized so no sexing needed. 70s if I start say 3 of them that I am going to stress to make pollen. A week ahead of the other is fine to make good pollen? Wouldnt I want it the 3 to be close to done before the other start to flower? 1st time trying this

Males will show sex first when put into flower. Generally speaking though, the flowers won't be ready to release pollen until the 4th or 5th week of 12/12. Another thing to consider is that the females won't be ready to be pollinated until the 5th or 6th week of 12/12.

Using the colloidal silver method, you would start spraying a branch or two of your female plant when you put it on to 12/12. It will probably take 3 or 4 weeks to get pollen from the male flowers when they show up.

Once a female is pollinated it's going to take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks to get viable seeds.

Since the autoflowering plants have a slightly quicker than average flowering time I would say you're on the right track with starting a plant or two early to get the pollen from. 2 weeks would probably be good but give yourself a cushion and do 3.

Good luck. :finger: :peace:

Soon I plan on doing the xsame thing, keep us posted on your progress. I plant to start one plant 2 weeks before the others, collect the pollen and pollinate 3 other strains.

Got to remember also you got 7-10 days of spraying your pollenator female until males start to form. One female turned male will be plenty to pollinate a 4x4 room lol.
