making my own soil

i was wondering if anyone could help me out with a soil matter ! im actually living in an area where im finding hard to purchase the soil and nutes im reading about on this site ! i was wondering which would be better to use, a sowing and cutting compost or a peat free multi purpose compost ? also would it be better to mix it with perlite or vermiculite and finally what other substances are need ! clearly im a beginner and before i start i want to have everything perfect and do it right ! also would a 6-5-5 fertiliser be sufficient ? thanks for your help guys !
