Ok, the world is going cray-cray right now. One of the items the preppers and scalpers have snapped up is hand sanitizer. You can't find this stuff anywhere.
But you can find isopropyl alcohol fairly cheaply. And Purell is just isopropyl alcohol and some inert ingredients. You can make it yourself.
The basic recipe is 2/3 x 90% (or higher) Isopropyl acohol and 1/3 x aloe vera gel. Just stir them together and put it in a bottle. You want the resulting mixture to be > 60% ISO per CDC recommendations.
You can supplement that with some essential oils if you want it scented. Or add a small amount of glycerin to stabilize it (won't separate as easily). Then just put it in a squeeze or pump bottle and use it.
But if you add some cannabis/cbd oil to that mix, you can get added benefits beyond clean hands.
