I have a random seed I planted and I'm not sure if it's a female or a male because while it has pistols it also has what looks to be like balls .....I'm unsure this is my first grow
You don't have balls, you have seeds. You are seeing the shell of the seed as it has already burst it's calyx open. More pics of her branch nodes may help with possible explanations.
