Maple Syrup

The real stuff, made from simply boiled down maple sap. Technicality it is sugar (plant sugar even) What is the consensus on that? I've got some left over from last year and the season is currently starting up again. Toss some in some water on a flush?

Thanks

I wouldn't use it on the flush. Use it a few weeks before the flush, use small amounts to see if there is any bad reaction with the plant.

My guess is that it could change the flavour of the plant, maybe even make it a little harsher smoke because the glucose is being absorbed into the plant, and I'm pretty sure it would make your buds swell up a little more.

Hope this helps!

Maple sugar would provide carbohydrates and its own unique micro nutrients, without the beneficial's in molasses. The biggest reason I wouldn't use it is the coast. Pure cost. Maples syrup is really expensive, I can't even afford to eat it.

Cost isn't really an issue with me. I have already made the syrup and the time to make more is starting up. Pre-flush I might try it. Figured I'd just see what people think.

Thanks

Good food for soul! I just remembered I still have some from a batch I made back about 5 years ago, maybe i'll do a lil experiment with one of my girls in the future outdoor and see how it changes one of them! :leaf:
