think he's trying to find answers more on the business side of things rather than growing side of it.
(sure the growing side is easy compared to the business side. its a lot more F'ed up with all the stupid laws, ie... cash only, banks not being able to do business with you, can't buy seeds but allowed to grow etc...)

you can start a corporation for next to nothing. all the papers you can find online.
Then submit it. some legal steps like board of directors, rules stuff but you can just copy any corporation paper online from free legal documents and make yours.

Try to find free legal documents and file with secretary of state, you can google that web site that looks up corporate names, that appears to be the biggest issue is not having your name close to another guys corporation.

Its $800 a year for a corporation and you then have to hire a tax accountant because you cant make any errors with that!

I think a collective is like $35 I don't suggest paying anyone more then $300 for the legal work, its so very easy to do your self.

Google up that and prepare to be happy with the nonprofit side of the industry because its kind of sucks.Articles of Incorporation - Nonprofit Mutual Benefit

ALL Cities tend to frown on storefront collectives now, but delivery services under small amounts they look the other way.

IV been in so many 50 sf dispensaries, boxes really, and they are all gone now with zoning laws.

You can dump money all day on lawyers and its never enough, its never enough they are like crack addicts and they thrive in making problems, its never enough for them they want it all and they want your guts and they want you dead.

Id kill my self before id deal with a lawyer again.

You can learn to do the basic things your self!!!
