Mars Hydro TS1000 in 3x3

Im very new to growing and I have realized people are saying the ts1000 isnt the greatest for flowering in a 3x3, this will be my first grow and I will be using autoflowers. Im just curious if this will be enough to get me by with maybe a oz per plant for at least my first grow before I can upgrade to the ts2000 or something better, but for right now there isnt much I can do for a while. I can return the light up to a month or two so I could order a new light maybe before the flowering stage, but If i dont will this be enough to get me through my first grow and maybe get a oz per plant?

That light would only grow one plant......it's only 150 watts.
Most people do 1-2, I feel like I could get away with 2 but the buds will be a little airy, which is fine for my first grow until I can get another light. Maybe the ts2000, What would you suggest though?

With autos you could do 2 probably.
The rule of thumb for quantum board lights is 30w per sq.ft..........you need approx. 270 actual watts for the best growth in a 3x3.
That doesn't mean you can't grow healthy plants under that light.......you just won't yield as much obviously.

Good luck and welcome to RIU.

Thanks a lot you took tons of worries off my mind, I thought It might not be possible to get much out of it. But I think this will be fine until my next grow when I can get a second light, or the ts2000 and return the ts1000.
How much do you think I could get out of each plant with this setup?

If you can still return it, that's what I'd do.

I stated I am on a budget, I want to see what I can do with this grow. I have until January 2021 to return it through amazon
So amazone is giving you @ 3 month return window ? I bought the tsw2000 and only got 30 days to return it.

Yup it says im eligible for Return by Jan 31, 2021!

also ive talked to a couple of growing with this light on reddit and a guy did 2 plants and got 10 oz from the light, I also have some other people saying that they have done 3-4 plants and gotten a oz of each one! So for beginners I would say it meets my expectations
