A mature seed is a dark seed, not white generally with a tiger striping look to it. White seeds are not viable. Also there is no curing to a seed. But if you plan on keeping the seeds for any length of time I like to keep mine in a crisper in my fridge. The cold simulates winter and the seeds keep better IMO

Yes mature seeds are a dark brown with black in it. If your seeds aren't ready when your making them let the plant flower more. If they aren't ready after over flowering time then you'd need to pollinate them sooner into flowering then when it starts to show pistols

seeds take 4 to 6 weeks to mature i normaly go full term because i was once a 2 time looser and it will neverhappen to me again

1. looser was the fact that i pollenated hole plant once plant is pollenated it is not all it can be bud wise buds a little weaker from loss of energy to make seeds

2. looser i did not let seeds mature seeds weere small green and baige not fully developed

so now i will leave a dusted branch or let an automatic go longer for seed maturity i will never be a two time looser again

So put some thing white ontop of the soil and on the floor to catch any seeds that drop off so that you can see them and not end up throwing them out by accident

you could i never do i always had to dig mine out not to say it could not happen if you have a 12 month flower plant and dust her nose in week 3 seeds going to be ready in week 9 at 6 weeks maturity then beans could drop i always like to time my pollenation to finish seeds and plant at same time

good luck
