Yep, look into how much Agri-land PharmaCom owns in Colombia....1000's of hectares being prepped now for Cannabis. Cargill is there too. They're just waiting for the US to legalize MJ at the Fed level....then it's game on!
Which is why we need to fight for growing rights now. The nice thing about cannabis is they can't patent a plant, just the derivatives. Just curious...does cannabis suddenly become a medicine in HC's eyes once big pharma is involved? fucking hypocrites.
The US Gov owns at least 2 patents to Medical Cannabis....maybe not the plant, but they got their greedy palms already in there.

^^^ That is so frustrating when you know from personal experience that you don't need to take that pharma crap for 90% of what people use it for. So many of those pills do damage to your system, which typically leads to more prescriptions, and the cycle continues in a never ending loop. Your quality of life deteriorates while the pharma wheel keeps turning $#%!
Slight modification to your line, absolutely, nothing but $ signs in that game, cost = people's lives and quality of life. But hey, they rarely claim it's about anything but $$$$$...
