hey every one, i have a big street light that is 150 watts, im pretty sure that the ballast is in with the light but the wires from the ballast are cut, would it be possible to maybe cut an extension cord and wire the wires from the ballast to the extension cord and have it work? if not is there a way i can fix this light to work? :-? Make sure you use the same guage wire or larger and put the splices in a plastic and covered junction box. Use approved wire connectors.

Then check to see if the ballast requires 220 volts or 110 volts. This should be on the data plate of the light or ballast somewhere. That way you know what type of plug you will need (220 volt versus 110 volt).
