wll iv got a couple plants goin in soil under 600w hps,in a 1x1.5 and 1.8 in hight.
its my first indoor grow.
it has a centrifugal fan sucking out the air and a couple fans(avge 32deg c) abit hot coz I have to run it during the day.
They have been in for bout 2 weeks, they were very unhealthy clones
(pics 4 days under light)
So to keep me from tampering with my plants all the time I thought id try my hand at a hydroponic setup
I choose the dwc setup after abit of google research , coming to the conclusion the dwc is one of the more simple setup's
I wanted to keep it small ,sort of an experiment to expand my knowledge
initially I was gonna craft it out of a couple tins
but after piecing it together and it sitting round for a couple days rust formed ,so that was a bad idea.
So I came up with my current setup
a 6L water bottle with a bit of tape rapped around it to block the light
a pair of sand stones(air stones) in the bottom
and a small water pump for a top feed
originally I was planning to use a clone I took from my plant, but not sure if its going to root,taking to long for my liking. (also a first time cloning)
Iv had a seedling going for bout of week in some soil so iv decided to use that(not feminized)
it has a little bit of root development, so I cleaned that up and stuck it in some clay balls in a wick pot
so this is my final setup
iv ph'd tap water to 6.0 (myt need to do more research on that)
and the only nutes I plan to use atm is a 2 part veg and a 2 part flower later on.
so ill see how it goes...ill be happy if it even works!
