Mixing lights: to do, or not to do?

Hello people!
First time grower here, and I am really appreciating you tips and tricks after having started this whole journey alone with a bit of research after receiving sweet seeds as a b-day gift.

After buying some basics (pots, medium, and nutes) I started my grow (1 Green Gelato - sativa, 2 ICE - indica) in a spare WC which is about 2m x 1m with central ac/humidifier/dehumidifier, I started my grow with 2x 150w purple LEDs: https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B07ZQDKP3T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 placed about 12in above the plants (keeping that range with a pulley system I improvised to hold the lights)

Even though my plants looked happy (doing my best as an amateur reading about the fundamentals), I started to realize that my grow was going very slow, the tallest plant was about 10in tall with 2 nodes after 4 weeks. The indicas are about half the size. After a few discussions about the importance of light, and a general consensus that my lights weren't going to be enough to carry my plants all the way through, I ended up ordering: Meijiu Quantum QB288v2 v3 240W hlg red Led Grow Lights, Samsung lm301b 3000k+660nm: https://www.alibaba.com/product-det...a2700.galleryofferlist.0.0.4d3321d031LhHa&s=p

While the new light is being shipped, I wanted to get ready to do the switch by having a good plan for the new lights.

Now the question is after taking down my purples and hooking up the new lights to my pulley, should I use the purples as additional lighting? If so, at what angle should I set them up (under, sides, from the top with an angle or side by side with the panel, etc...)? Or should I just stash them, and use them for my next season seedling stage?

Any tip is appreciated.

The kit you bought will cover 2x4ft so it depends on how much space your filling with you plants.

There is no harm mixing lighting but I wouldn't want those particular purple lights for veg, maybe add them for flowering if you need the extra photons.
