miyagis all purpose petroleum free solvent

does anyone have any experience using miyagis all purpose wax off solvent for any type of extraction? I have some but haven't used it yet

what kind of solvent is it? do you have a link to the product ?

We haven't extracted with d Limonene, but Horatio has done it successfully and it is on our to do list with the Hiedolph we are currently putting through its paces. I scored the food grade d Limonene from extractconsultants.com.

dude that owns that miyagis company told my buddy that "the clear" is made with his product,I think he's mistaken,does anyone know anything about that being true at all?

In our local backwater hood, locally "Clear" just means the Diterpene fraction from short path distillation

That's what I thought. But the maker claims is Rosin - or solventless using only heat and pressure. I am confused thought in how one would use this to extract (as opposed to add in flavor/terps). I am ignorant about Linolene but if you used like you would for a QWET or QWISO, how would you evaporate the solvent to get to just the concentrate?

Horatio has declined to share his process, but drops hints that it involves washing/distilling out the d Limonene as an azeotrope with water.

seems there is an info gap between internet blogs and instagram right now. i see a ton of "clear" hash companies coming out. seems to really be the trend. d limonene is a non polar solvent so it works like butane. i remember bringing up fractal distillation and terpene solvents in 2012 but no one was really fucking with it. I'm glad its starting to take off.

i have heard some people chalk the clear up to being reclaim with added terpz and they are kinda right….

there are many versions of the hash out there.

i like the more natural kind with added terpz from the plant that was extracted (you can distill the terpz out and add them back in)

i have seen some that had terpz from other plants added (you can order a whole list of them off amazon and mix them to produce different flavors)
smoking something that tasted like grape candy and made my head hurt was not for me.

I think I was the first person to suggest distilling off the terpenes before doing a solvent extract then adding the terps back...then like 6 mths later some extract company got caught adding terps back into their extract and claimed it was shit found in their cold trap and that's where they got the idea...
