Moisture in the buds?

After doing the hang dry method for 5 days (untill stems snap not bent) i placed all the nugs into jars, now the problem is i imagined them to regain some kinda moisture with this process?

after about 3 days the buds are still ultra dry.

should i expect that some moisure will come back into them? or did i mess somthing up along the way

i waited until the stems snapped, the day before they only bent.
as far as ive read thats the way to do it?

If there too dry put an orange peel or apple slice in your jar and see if that helps to moisten them up a bit.

Cure mine when stems are bendy, but dont break,at about 3 days........works for me anyway
