Molasses

So i"ve heard good things about adding some molasses to your water during the flowering stage, i plan on doing with my own plants, but was wondering is it good for the plant(adds any nutritional value) or is it purely to help the taste of your smokes?

I Add A Diluted Tea To My Soil,before I Transplant Clones. They Love It.it Helps Them Produce More Sugar =more Tricromes
