Noticed this one top nug has been fading fast and sugar leaves getting shrivelled up. Took a closer look and I see mold starting. FFS I cant find it anywhere else but I'm worried. Should I just chop the entire plant. I see a few amber trichomes and the rest are cloudy with some clear on lower stuff. My first grow so I'm just checking everyday but I'm almost wanting to cut it now. Tent hasnt been above 60% humidity in atleast 4 weeks. It's usually around 50, sometimes down to 40

60% is borderline and should be ok for most sativas. Your strain may not tolerate 60% very well and should try to stay below 55%. I agree just cut that nug off and let the rest go. A fan blowing on the top colas will help keep the mold at bay also.

Ya I got it at 35-40% the last 24hr, will keep it at 40%. I'm going to chop one plant tonight and let the other two go for a bit longer. I bet mold spores are in the tent now, dont want it spreading and they all have amber trichomes.

This is Cookies Kush indica dominate strain

bud rot is systemic. lowering humidity will help some but its possible you will get more since its already inside of your plant.
While it may be systemic its like any other fungi. It can only produce a fruiting body in the conditions. If you cut the stem just above the last node before the affected tissue and make sure to maintain an environment that won't allow fruiting of the mold it should be fine. This coming from a decade of experience growing outdoors in Western Oregon where botrytis is a word in a whole lot of people's vocabulary.
