More silica questions.

Can I mix potassium silicate with mono silicic acid. I'm just not getting the results I'm looking for. In fact, I started using a product called front row si in soil at a ph of 6.4 - 6.5 and haven't noticed much change. In fact one of them started looking worse so I stopped and went back to alchemist stout msa.
 
Look online but yeah, in solution NOT together. What I'm not sure of though, is which one goes in the water first, or does it even matter?
