Mother plants and clones?

I understand I need to keep a mother plant in the vegetative state but still have a few questions to further my knowledge.

How much grow space is needed to keep a mother plant in good condition say of a shorter plant height like Northern Lights?

And can I keep clones in the same grow area as my mother plants? The clones would still be in their earliest stage growing roots in the little cubes.

The size of the mother depends on how you let it grow. Sometimes they are huge but their are also the bonsai mothers, which are small and branchy. And Yes the mother and clones will use the same light schedule so they can be in the same area.

What he said. There is a not set height that is given to a mother it is just what you have room for. Bigger plants more clones , smaller plant less clones. thats about the only diffrence.

What they said. Although i would keep unrooted clones farther away from the light. The mother should favor the light until clones have fully rooted and have been transplanted.
