Moving drivers outside tent idea

Hey fellow growers.

I built a qb light frame with 5x 288s and 2x qb18s. Wired 2x 288s in parallel (x2) 1x 288, 2x qb18.
I have the drivers mounted on top of the frame on a 3mm thick piece of aluminium sheeting. I’m having some dramas with heat in my grow and want to mount the drivers outside on the wall. Since I’m not an electrician and want to do everything safely I have some questions to ask?

I want to remove the drivers and piece of aluminium and mount it to the brick wall next to my shed. Will it be fine mounted to the bricks? Mounted via masonary wall fasteners.

I have been looking online and a lot of people have said to wire an extension cord from a hardware store from the driver to the light frame, then solid core to the light. I have this extension cord in my shed but I’m not sure if it can be use? Can handle amps,volts etc?

And I have these wire joiners left over from building my light frame. Are these ok to use with the extension? Waco’s aren’t really common here in Australia.

The extension cord may have specifications embossed on the covering. Since you are only working with 54V or less, it is most likely that would be more than adequate to use for remote driver line. As long as the wire connectors are rated for those voltages, which I imagine they are, and the wires will fit, they will work.
I personally don't see any issues with anything you are considering doing there.
When I wall-hang drivers, I always leave a gap for airflow, never a flush mount, but then again, mine don't have an aluminum plate on them either.

Edit: specs for the extension cord, I missed that picture until I posted, rated for 1000V , plenty beefy

As long there is no moisture issues around drivers , it will be fine.
also you can mount on a simple plywood panel .

I used a 1/4" thick piece of composite panel from HD. I just used lamp cord for the driver connections.
