Moving... Tips on finding a good house to grow?

So I'm going to be moving in late august to go to school, somewhere around Seattle hopefully. I really want to grow some bud but I'm having a hard time figuring out where would be an ideal place to move. A house would be great, but where ever I'm going its got to be a rental. Do you guys have any tips on finding a real estate agent that might be able to help me out with a location? I know its a long shot but I thought I'd ask. It's going to be a small grow. Would it be totally impossible in a large apartment building or are there air scrubbers that could keep the smell to a minimum? I'd be mostly afraid of the landlords... Surely all you guys on here don't own houses... Would it be illegal to grow in an apartment if you had a medical marijuana card? Thanks a lot for your help!

if you have a recomendation by a doctorthat allows you to grow than you could do it in your apparment, or any other place that you live....as long as your a medicalpatiend and in the location that you plan to grow, good luck

If your going to grow in a rental be really careful.
1. Some land lords are really nosie and some you couldn't get
in contact unless the rent's due so feel em out first.
2. Find a rental with lots of acres, or a large closet. :)

just get a large closet or basement. get a carbon filter to take the smell away and ull be fine. just make sure ur closet (if thats the way u go) has enough space so the veg lights wont fuck with the flowering ladies. u can even straight up ask the land lord about 'do u mind if i partake in marijuana' if they freak out, tell them u dont wanna live there anyways and move on. what are they gonna do then? maybe rub their ass with their dildos a little more til they have somebody new to show the place to. u just might have to do a lot more shopping around. but very VERY possible. i grew in a townhouse once and it was fantastic. and if u have access to medi marijuana wtf are u freakin about?

Thanks everyone for your replies, all very helpful. I don't have a medical MJ card yet... I live in WA and it's mostly for chronic pain/illnesses. I want to be able to grow some excellent bud for myself and sell the rest to the local clinic. The only way I can get a card is if I lose a little bit of weight and tell the doctors that I'm anorexic (sorry if that seems extremely stupid, it's the only way I can keep my grow legal though). I am diagnosed with chronic depression but it's not covered in WA so I have to figure out another way to get a card.

Oh people are to paranoid! If u have a good relationship with your landlord your fine!! Air scrubbers work just make sure u use it right. IF u are going to grow, dont waste your time with a dinky light, make your pound k. Since your already dealing with smell..
Were I live Real Estate does not deal with rentals and for a Medical Card Grow lic, U can grow in an apt with out landlord knowledge, But that's here. My brother is a card holder and has grown in his place.. All in all, get a place with a basement, put up a few 2 X 4 X 8 up and make your corners to staple your poly wrap for walls :). That will work and it's fast and simple to take down.. A few peeps i know do that.. They have 4 rentals on the go like this.. Make sure u can get access to a window- maybe built a window box if need be.
