multi potted transplant...Help!!!

IMG_20130705_151431.jpgIMG_20130705_151302.jpgI have a couple clones that are multi potted and want to transplant they are about 3 months and i have one pot with 2 plant and another with 3 what should i do keep them together or separate???

3 months? those should be some pretty decent plants about ready for flower, no? im almost 100% positive the 2 plants roots have merged into one huge root ball. and separating them might kill them. id leave them if it were me, and pot them in a 5 gallon or larger pot if you have room. one you repot them, you should see the enormous intertwined root ball.

Yup - what DT said. Maybe try a little LST to spread the plants out a bit for better lighting (ie bend one plant about 45 dgrees to the left and the other to the right) Make the bends as low as possible and it should redirect growth in that direction.

i think you should take them out of the pot and see, sometimes quite big LOOKING plants have smallish root balls......

also in the pick of the 2 in 1 pot you can see how sharing a pot has reduced both off there growth.

i would separate, i cant see them having a huge mass of intertwined roots, they dont look big enough.

with a little care you can do it!!
