mushroom coming out of soil

no shit 1 of my plants has a 2 inch tall mushroom coming out of the soil. consqeuently this plant looks very ill. not the bud sites specifically but all the fan leaves are yellowing +copper spots all over the fan leaves someone please help pics if necessary i dont really wanna.

Well, without pics, I can tell you that your soil has been quite moist, you have minimal ventilation,(near the soil) and that your humidity is likely high. The spores have a good environment to grow, and that's likely why you have a mushroom growing.


As far as the spots....hard to say, but it could be either a calcium deficiency, or indications of a PH problem. Maybe both. The best I can do, is to recommend a good flushing, followed by a light feeding, like 1/2 strength.

ok dude i have 3 other plants on same exact feed cycle none show any of the symptoms this one has however other than the fan leaves it looks fine and is actually budding.

wierd is plant is closest to oscillating fan, but yes humid in my place swap cooler i dont think the mushroom was doing damage how can i decide if the mushrooms is special

well imo youve gotten your soil way too wet it hasnt dried making the humidity sky rocket causing the shroom to grow wich is a fungus and thats why your leaves are that way youve gotten fungus problems bad...i had this same problem once not a special shroom please dont eat it...

Never eat a mushroom unless you're 100% sure it's the good kind, MOST mushrooms are EXTREMELY poisonous and can kill you...

i agree, in order for a shroom to live you have to have some killer humitidy, low light levels, slow air, etc etc. chances are its not good shroom, its bad shroom, chances are eating decaying soil and plants roots. dude ur fucked. do a lil study on the life cycle of a shroom, its just the fruitsing body of the fungus underneath, chances are your whole pot is full of fungus. you seriously need to scrap this one and do an investigation on how in the hell you got fungus in your soil. plus your soil had to be extremely moist. jeez, this sucks.

dudes i am not sure. if thats it the humidity can't be that high there is a 600w hps on it 12 hours a day not low light in my opinion. they got about a gallon of water each when transplanted into these pots 4 days ago this plant as well as others has had some gnats but most are gone now i just transplanted this thing and 3 others into 3 gallon pots with roots organic soil. I'm letting it dry out completely and gonna flush it with water/ go gnats fungicide, being that its 3 weeks into flower i dont really wanna scrap it being that the plant is still budding.. if anyone has some better options wants some more pictures for help diagnosing i could do that

chances are swamp cooler caused high humidity. + drenching when transplanted. = not shit loads of fungus attacking my roots i dont think
